Dearest Readers,

I heard that in Calgary ‘they’ want to make a new bylaw that bans the use of cell phones while driving. Obviously I am assuming the rationality behind it is to reduce distractions while being behind the wheel. Because I most admit while I am pretty good at multitasking, I still find myself getting lost by the conversation. Not to mention that of course I would never do this .. but text messaging while driving. Now that really takes your eye of the prize.

However, I think it would be extremely hard to get used to not useing your phone while driving, you would probably see a lot of people stopped at the side of the road. I know that historically nobody had cell phones less 10years before but lets face reality we have become one with our cell phones . AKA Haraways ’cyborg manifestation’.

Final Thought: So How would we deal without our your cellphone while driving? Safer yes, practical Not so much.

Kindest Regards,

Barb E
