Dearest Readers,
In class we discussed how Louis Vuitton could possibly charge 3000 buckaroonies for a handbag. But because of popular demand and a very impressive advertising campiagn our society has gone ‘Louis Vuitton Crazy’ and by doing so encouraging high prices. Not only is Louis being targeted but Infact society has gone Brand Crazy; Obsessed with appearance joined with a fueling economy; there is money to be spent. I once heard that a man should invest in one nice suit and a woman in a fine purse. Depends how fickle you want to be I guess.
But the truth is that Louis Vuiton merchandise has fueled a Fad and nomatter what you may think about the cost of the purses. Theres always an ‘aahhh’ from the crowd when someone has one. Which in turn makes people want to keep purchasing the hottest item on the matket. Of course one of the main reasons the campaign is attracting a lot of attention is because they are worth so much. Look at diamonds for example; even though there are millions of diamonds in the world the market value has added to their huge cost. And diamonds have always been a girls best friend because of it. > otherwise it would just be another rock that is ridiculously good-looking and EXPENSIVE. As creatures of nature what society treasures as symbols of wealth and prestige is often what we try to attain as individuals. Who can blame us??

Of course we all have our own preconceived notions of whats valuable to us. What we like to spend our money on. Whether is be a movie collection worth > 3000 or a purse. I guess what it comes down to is what makes you happy? Ultimately we work hard for our own money to purchase and sustain our lifestyles within society. How can one judge on the value of on item to another. Perhaps the idea is the bueaty is in the eye of the beholder. or rather the purchaser.
Whether something is better real or fake is debatable/ everyone having their own personal opinion in the end. Examples can be a real tree or a fake tree?/ Real boobs or fake boobs?? / Real Louis Vuiton or fake one?/ Real D&G glasses or fake ones?/. You get the idea. Well I do own a real Louis Vuitton purse. and of course before I owned my real one I purchased a fake one. So I do know something about the pros and cons about each. > and I must say the real is so much better than the fake to me. Also same with the christmas tree situation.
Real Louis Vuittons come with a lifetime warranty … I mean if anything, anything gets damaged you can get it replaced. they are a classic and they will always be on file. Mine happens to be the bedford bag; so its shaped is referred to as the logpurse. It creates so much converstaion; no matter where I take it and not only because its Louis; the symbol is discret but rather because of its unique character. This bag is something I take care of, it has a protective layer on it so any debris can be easily removed. Before I start sounding like a commercial…. the fake bag costs a lot of money too., it is an underground industry that takes away from the value of the real ones because it makes people think that the real ones are fake. And it lasts 5 months before things start getting ruined and clasps start falling off. It may be a little bit more of an investment for the real one but to get quality these days you need to spend a little bit more I find. And it will save you money in the long run.
Final Thought: The real trees always smell better.
Kindest Thoughts,
